Given the mandatory nature of the Green Pass in Slovenia to attend congresses, we would like to inform you that the following measures and Safety Protocol will apply to EUGA 21 delegates, Faculty members and Sponsors attending the Annual Meeting onsite.

A person who meets the recovered/vaccinated/tested rule (RVT rule) may enter the Republic of Slovenia without being ordered to quarantine at home. The RVT rule is met if a person provides one of the certificates listed below:

1. a negative PCR test provided that no more than 72 hours have passed since the swab was taken, or a negative rapid antigen test provided that no more than 48 hours have passed since the swab was taken,

2. EU Digital COVID Certificate in digital or paper format and with a QR code (EU DCC),

3. a digital COVID certificate of a third country in digital or paper format and with a QR code, which must contain the same data as the EU DCC and be issued in English by a competent health authority of the third country (DCC of a third country),

4. a certificate of COVID-19 vaccination to show that the person has received:

   – the second dose of the Comirnaty vaccine produced by Biontech/Pfizer or the Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine produced by Moderna or the Sputnik V vaccine produced by Russia’s Gamaleya National Centre of Epidemiology and Microbiology or the CoronaVac vaccine produced by Sinovac Biotech or the COVID-19 vaccine produced by Sinopharm or the Vaxzevria COVID-19 vaccine produced by AstraZeneca or the Covishield produced by the Serum Institute of India/or a combination of two previously listed vaccines;

   – the dose of the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine produced by Johnson and Johnson/Janssen-Cilag. Proof of vaccination is obtained as of the day of vaccination.

5. a certificate of a positive PCR test result that is older than 10 days, unless a doctor determines otherwise, but not older than 180 days;

6. proof of recovery from COVID-19 referred to in the preceding point and proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to show that the person has received one dose of a vaccine under indent one of point 4 within a period of no more than 180 days since receiving a positive PCR test result or from the onset of symptoms; The person is protected as of the day of vaccination. CLICK HERE TO KNOW MORE

COVID - MANDATORY PREVENTIVE MEASURES AT THE EVENT

In order to ensure the safety of the event, Defoe has provided a series of tools that allow an assessment of the risk of contagion and the consequent adoption of preventive measures that everyone attending the event will be obliged to observe.

 

a) SOCIAL DISTANCING: all activities in the congress venue must comply with the rule that people are at least ONE

METER away one from the other

b) USE OF PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): all participants (delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers)

must be equipped with PPE (masks) and subjected to preventive measurement of fever. 

c) HAND WASHING: all participants (delegates, speakers, sponsor companies, suppliers) must take care to wash their hands frequently or sanitize them through the use of disinfectant dispensers present during the event.

d) ACCESS CONTROL: all people who will have access to the event venue will be identified and subjected to health checks established by the procedures in place for the specific event (Green Pass, Health status self-certification, body temperature measurement). Access will be granted only to those who are regularly registered for the Congress.

e) EUGA delegates, speakers EU and UK citizens and residents must show a valid Green Pass to the security personnel present at the entrance of the structure, before registration. Access will be denied to anyone who does not have it or refuses to show it. Furthermore, body temperature can be measured according to the procedures set out in the reference procedure.

Access will be forbidden in case of temperatures above 37.5 ° C.

f) INFORMATION TO PARTICIPANTS:  Detailed information on the adopted preventive measures will be available in the Congress venue through digital and printed signs

g) CONSTANT MONITORING OF COMPLIANCE WITH THE MEASURES ADOPTED:

Defoe will carry out continuous monitoring of compliance with the measures adopted by all those present at the event. In case of behavior that does not respect the measures adopted by someone present at the event venue, the staff must kindly draw attention to compliance with the measures and, in the event of persistent deviant behavior, will promptly notify the Security Officer present on site.

h) MODIFICATION OF CONGRESS SPACES If necessary, Defoe will modify the allocation of conference spaces (booths, halls and other spaces for services) in order to minimize the risk of contagion.
